TOLEDO OH (4-8-09)--Flat Rock and Toledo will both begin selling tires and fuel each Thursday, starting Thursday, April 16, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All sales must be paid for when picking up tires/fuel.
The Hantz Group Joins Allegiant Air to Sponsor Late Model Gold Cup Series
TOLEDO, OH: (4-2-09): A name quite familiar to Toledo Speedway fans will provide title sponsorship for the ARCA Glass City Gold Cup Late Model Series in 2009. The Hantz Group, a financial services company, will join with Allegiant Air to present the 5-race Gold Cup Series this season. The schedule features 2 races at Flat Rock Speedway and 3 events at Toledo for the upcoming season.
TOLEDO OH (3-31-09)--The Westhold Corporation, the manufacturers of our timing and scoring transponder system at both Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways, are now offering the LAPCEIVER to race teams. It is powered by one (1) AA battery.
Frenchtown Mall Car Show A Success: Westfield This Weekend
TOLEDO, Ohio (3-23-09)--Several Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway racecars and ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series race trucks made an appearance to Frenchtown Square Mall in Michigan this weekend for the annual car show. This is the last of our winter bulletins. Flat Rock office will open Monday, April 13. Toledo office is staffed daily. Scott will be staying at Toledo office until mid-June; Frank Bockstanz will be at Flat Rock daily when the track office opens.
TOLEDO, Ohio (March 18, 2009)--A large group of racers, former racers, race fans and track officials gathered at the Toledo Speedway Bar and Grill on Saturday for the Annual Racer's Reunion and Michigan Auto Racing Fan Club Meeting. Bill Litogot Sr., who drove in ARCA sanctioned races at Mt. Clemens Race Track and Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways, passed away after a fall at his home Monday evening March 16. Litogot attended the Racer's Reunion Saturday at the Toledo Speedway Bar & Grill, along with his son Bill Litogot Jr., grandson Bill Litogot III and his great grandson. Bill Litogot Sr. was 86. Bill Litogot III is the 2006 ARCA 4-Cylinder division champion and currently competes in the ARCA Late Model division. Funeral services are private.
TOLEDO, OH: The New Glass Bowl Lanes hosted the Flat Rock/Toledo Speedway bowling tournament Sunday afternoon. The group of about 25 bowlers took part in the 9-Pin No Tap tournament being held at the Glass Bowl, which serves as the sponsor of Toledo's Winner's Circle. Owner Ron Gorney also furnishes the tour bus for the track during the summer months.

Racer's Reunion, Fan Club Meeting, Mall Shows Signal Start of Season
TOLEDO, OH: There's something about walking into Frenchtown Square Mall in Monroe and Westfield Franklin Park in Toledo at this time of year-and when you see the freshly-painted, sharp-looking race cars, you start to get anxious for racing season!
