RACER'S REUNION/MARFC MEETING: Saturday, March 15 is the date at the Speedway Bar and Grille. Admission is free all day! The reunion is for everyone, with many retired drivers on hand. Thousands of photos and memorabilia will be on display-you really need to check it out. It starts at noon. Bring your photos and track stuff.

And then at 6:30 p.m., it's the Michigan Auto Racing Fan Club Meeting at the Bar and Grille. Our own Bill Barnhart is President of the Club-it's free admission again. We need to support Bill and the club-put this date on your calendar.

CAR SHOWS: Just added! April 12-13, Southland Center in Taylor, MI. They were scheduled for a construction project, but have pushed that back, so now we have 2 double-header weekends of car shows: We will be at the Westfield Franklin Park in Toledo the same weekend as Frenchtown in Monroe, March 29-30; and at the Westland Shopping Center April 12-13, along with Southland. We need more cars than ever before at these events....we will be limited on space in Toledo, but the other malls can take a good number. Get ready! These events can help you, too!

The tracks will also staff a booth at the Bedford Trade Fair March 8-9, located at Bedford High School, just 2 miles from the ARCA office.

*We are also looking for a few cars for the Owens Community College Motorsports Welding Show, set for Thursday, April 3. Call for the details if you are interested.

MUFFLERS: Check yours! We will be checking noise levels at both tracks. Don't be the example. And just a reminder to Late Model and Sportsman drivers that an ARCA approved head/neck restraint system is required this year.

CAR NUMBERS: If you ran last season, we'll give you the first 3 weeks of the season to keep it. After that, it's up for grabs. We'll work with everyone; if you won't make it out in that time period, let us know and we'll make it work for you. Any changes for program needs to be in by March 1.

FLAT ROCK LATE MODELS: As we discussed, a 2-tire rule will be in effect for 2008. You will be able to run 4 new tires the first 2 nights of racing, plus the 150 and the 100. On all other nights, only 2 new tires will be permitted.

4 CYLINDERS: We will be using transponders on the 4 Cylinder cars in 2008.

MEMBERSHIPS: have been mailed to drivers and car owners only. If you need more, call the track. 2008 rule books will be sent with your membership when you join.

Pad Rentals: Will be mailed out next week. The forms will also be posted on the website. 2007 renters will have right of first refusal, but must be paid by the due date or you lose your pad. A waiting list is being compiled at Flat Rock-call us if you have not done so yet to get on the list.

Season tickets/gift cards: Are now on sale-same prices as 2007! You can download the form off the websiteTOL-FR-ticketOrderform or call us at the office. Gift cards are just $25 and they're good at both tracks! Special event tickets (reserved seating events): Will go on sale March 1. Order form is available via the link above.

TIRES: Tires will be available after March 15 at the ARCA office. Tires will be at Toledo and Flat Rock tracks after April 7. Prices TBA.

FUEL: Bazell Fuels/Sunoco returns as our official race fuel. Price TBA.

Contingency awards: ARP Race Car Bodies, Five Star, Howe Racing Enterprises and Pioneer will return again for 2008. More details soon.

4 CYLINDER RENTAL CAR: If you don't know, we have a 4 Cylinder car for rent again this season. Cost is $300 per night. We are taking rentals now. Call us if you have someone interested in being a real race car driver!

SPEEDWAY ADVERTISING: Everything is available at both tracks-night sponsorship, wall ads, program ads, the works! Call Scott at 419-727-1100.

MARKETING KITS: We have our new marketing kits available. It may assist you in your search for new sponsors. They are full color, very neat package! They are $5 each. Call 419-727-1100 to get one today.

PRE-SEASON PRACTICES: Flat Rock: Saturday, April 19 from Noon to 5, pits open at 10 a.m.; and Wednesday, April 23, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., pits open at 4. Toledo: Sunday, April 20, Noon to 5 p.m., pits open at 10 a.m. (Toledo rain date is Sunday, April 27, same times).

TRACK RENTALS: Prices are same as 2007; 4 hours-$400, 8 hours-$600. Due to scheduling, 2-hour blocks at both tracks are no longer available. Price does include ambulance.
