Condolences to the Family of Robert Melchior
TOLEDO OH (3-18-08)--Condolences to ARCA Officials Keith and Betty McCall on the death of Betty's father, Robert Melchior.
Keith and Betty administrate the scoring transponder system in the pit area at Toledo and Flat Rock Speedways. Mr. Melchior, 97, of Toledo, passed away March 17 in Flower Hospital. He was employed at the Toledo Scale Company for 31 years. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Winifred; daughters Janet Scharer and Betty (Keith) McCall; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister Lamanette (Richard) Ford of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Boyer-VanWormer-Scott Funeral Home, 5055 Secor Rd., Toledo, Wednesday March 19 2-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. where services will be held Thursday, March 20 at 11 a.m. The family suggests contributions to Alexis Congregational Church.
