Flat Rock Speedway

Wow, check this #71 car out!  That is the Carolina Flash, Royce Cornett, posing with his #71 Figure 8 machine at Flat Rock Speedway.  Royce would later on move to the Late Model class, where he collected 28 wins at “The Rock”.  Always a threat, Royce captured the 2002 Flat Rock Late Model crown.  The Temperance, MI resident stays busy working at his auto repair shop and is “crew chief” for his son, RJ, who has begun his racing career in the go-karts.  Royce is still a frequent visitor to both Flat Rock and Toledo during the summer months.
