Flat Rock Speedway

A very young-looking Dick Barker (17?) poses with ARCA founder and Flat Rock promoter John Marcum circa 1978.  Barker would capture the 1978 and 1980 Late Model track titles at “The Rock”.  Barker zipped to 20 feature wins in his career at the ¼ mile paved oval during his career, and also posted 8 wins at Toledo.

The “Magic Man” has teamed with Pat Moran to currently field a Late Model for Frankie Jiovani, and the car sports Barker’s #45 with the orange paint scheme.
