    2019 RULES AMENDMENT—DECEMBER 14, 2018

    TO: ARCA LATE MODEL SPORTSMAN AND STREET STOCK TEAMS

    The new FiveStar NASCAR-style Gen 6 body has been approved for competition for the 2019  season, with the following stipulations.

    Splitters are not permitted. (Rulebook already states no front spoiler for Late Model Sportsman and no front or rear spoiler for Street Stocks).

    Cars using this body style will add 50 lbs. to total weight required of car.

    *These body styles will continue to be evaluated when in competition in 2019.

    Five Star Gen 6 Chevy nose
    The 'splitter' is clearly molded into the nose piece.

      You're approving a body that has a splitter molded into the nose piece of every make.  So in order to run the new Gen 6 body, teams will have to cut that off.  That makes absolutely no sense.
