REMEMBERING ALAN KENNEDY
Alan Kennedy, driver of the #80 ARCA Street Stock, passed away Monday, July 27 from injuries received in a tragic accident while being a spectator at a classic car cruise event. He was 49 years old.
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 2 at the Taylor Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23750 Goddard Road (1 block east of Telegraph), from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Services will be at the funeral home at 4 p.m.
Alan is survived by his mother, 2 sisters, 1 brother, 10 nieces and nephews, 16 great-nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Jayden.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Donations in Alan’s name may be made to the Michigan Humane Society and/or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, ten visitors at a time will be allowed inside the funeral home on a rotating basis. Please wear a mask when entering the funeral home.
The entire ARCA, Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway family sends its thoughts and prayers to Alan’s family….he will be greatly missed.
