Kids Power Wheel Derby at Flat Rock this Saturday!
Flat Rock Speedway will host a Kids Power Wheels Derby as part of the Saturday, August 12 race card. The highly-popular battery-powered machines will battle on the track at Flat Rock.
The Power Wheels Derby is for Kids ages 3-10. Each contestant must provide their own Power Wheels car and helmets must be worn. The entry form, along with the Minor’s Waiver and release, must both be completed by the parents prior to the event. Both forms are on the track’s home page under Racer Information at www.flatrockspeedway.com.
There is a $10 entry fee per child per race.
For the 2023 event, the Power Wheels cars are to be dropped off at the PIT gate on the north end of the grounds no later than 6 p.m. Parents only will be permitted to accompany their child onto the track surface for the event at approximately 6:40 p.m.
Each participant will receive a checkered flag.
The rescheduled Monroe Superstore FIREWORKS show will light up the skies Saturday night! The ARCA DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks will battle in the Corrigan Race Fuels 100 lap contest, with a 25 lap B Main also on the race card. There’s more action with the Safety Kleen ARCA Enduro 250 lap race and the MCR Dwarf Cars, all part of a great night of family fun and entertainment.
There is no advance sale for this event. ALL tickets will go on sale at the track at 4 p.m. on race day. The ticket office and front gates will open at 4, with racing at 7 p.m.
