Saturday, May 3 : USA Insulation Opening Day! OSLM, SS, F8, plus pre race track walk!

The 2024 Flat Rock Speedway racing season begins on Saturday, May 3 with USA Insulation Opening Day! This will be the first chance to see a brand new surface at Flat Rock Speedway after the track was repaved during the offseason. See racing from the Moran Chevrolet Outlaw Super Late Models, DTS Drive Train Specialists, and the R&M Recycling Street Stocks division. 

Sunday, May 4 : Flat Rock Historical Society Flea Market (No Racing)

The market takes place 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Over 200 dealers are expected! Parking and admission are free. No pets at the event, please. There will be treasures galore! Wear your sneakers, bring your wagons and trucks! Vintage and rare finds, collectibles and re-purposed items - there is something for everyone!

Saturday, May 10 : Motor City Madness 50 lap F8, OSLM, SS 

The second running of the Motor City Madness 50 lap Figure 8 race takes place Saturday, May 10! The second race of the season will help knock the rust off for the Moran Chevrolet ARCA Outlaw Super Late Models, DTS Drive Train Specialists ARCA Street Stocks and R&M Recycling ARCA Figure 8s.

Saturday, May 17 : Dutch Boy 150 ARCA Menards Series East, SS, FS 500 Series

For the third year in a row, Flat Rock Speedway is set to host the ARCA Menards East Series and the Dutch Boy 150 at the Motor City Speedway in the first night race of the 2025 season! NASCAR rising stars Connor Zilisch and William Sawalich have taken checkered flags in this event since the series return in 2022. See the likes of Venturini Motorsports and Joe Gibbs Racing take on the famed ¼ mile as Chevrolet, Ford and Toyota vie for bragging rights in the Motor City’s Speedway. The DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks and a 100-lap Factory Stock 500 Series event will take the helm on this evening of racing.

Saturday, May 24 : DTS Drive Train Specialists Joy Fair Memorial 100 OSLM, SS, F8

The historic DTS Drive Train Specialists Joy Fair 100 will take place on Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday May 24th. Some of the best Moran Chevrolet Outlaw Super Late Models in the region will pursue the opportunity to be called a Joy Fair 100 winner. DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks and the R&M Recycling Figure 8 Division will accompany the Outlaw Super Late Models on this night of racing.

Saturday, May 31 : THE NEW Enviro Metals Street Stock Double Dash, Twin 50 lap SS races, plus F8, FS 500 Series 

Enviro Metals sponsors the first ever Street Stock Double Dash - a double-points Twin 50 laps event at Flat Rock Speedway! See the stars of the DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stock division battle under the lights for two races in one ticket! The R&M Recycling Figure 8 and a 100-lap Factory Stock 500 Series event will also take place in this huge evening of racing.

Friday, June 6 : Friday Night! Kids/Scout Night OSLM, SS, MCR Dwarf Cars

It’s a special Friday Night of racing at Flat Rock Speedway with Kids/Scout Night to close out the school year at home. See the Moran Chevrolet Outlaw Super Late Models, DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks, and touring series MCR Dwarf Cars do battle in a huge night of racing. This will be the first MCR Dwarf event of 2025.

Saturday, June 14 : Dunwell Dry Goods School Bus F8, Boat F8, OSLM, F8

LOOK OUT!!! The famous School Bus Figure 8 night of racing will take place on Saturday, June 14th. The racing evening will begin with the Moran Chevrolet Outlaw Super Late Models and R&M Recycling Figure 8s. Boat Figure 8 captains will set sail before ending the night with the School Bus Figure 8.

Saturday, June 21 : ASA/CRA – JEGS Combo Late Models 125, SS, F8

The ASA/CRA-JEGS Late Model Combo race will return to Flat Rock Speedway on Saturday, June 21! This will be the one race all season to catch CRA template late model racing at the Motor City Speedway. Also on deck for this anticipated event will be the R&M Recycling Figure-8 Division, as well as the DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks.

Saturday, June 28 : Autograph Night! LMSP, SS, F8, FS 500 Series

Time to catch one last race before the summer break. Watch the four divisions in some Saturday night action at Flat Rock Speedway during autograph night: the Salenbien Excavating Late Model Sportsman division, DTS Drive Train Specialists ARCA Street Stocks, the R&M Recycling ARCA Figure 8 Division, and the ARCA Factory Stock 500 Series will all be in contention in a huge evening of racing.

July 5 : No Racing

Saturday, July 12 : Royal Truck & Trailer Triple 50s & Fireworks OSLM, SS, F8

One of the best nights to be at the track all year! Three 50-lap features for the Moran Chevrolet ARCA Outlaw Super Late Models, DTS Drive Train Specialists ARCA Street Stocks and R&M Recycling ARCA Figure 8s. To cap the night of 150 laps of feature racing there will be a fireworks display, one of Flat Rock’s long-standing traditions.

Saturday, July 19 : Moran Chevrolet Stan Yee 150 Presented by DTS Drive Train Specialists OSLM, SS, NCTS Outlaw Compacts 

The historic 30th running of the Moran Chevrolet Stan Yee 150 Outlaw Super Late Model Race will take place July 19th in a huge night of racing. Our biggest Late Model race of the season will continue to honor the late Stan Yee Sr. who is an icon of late model stock car racing, and of Flat Rock Speedway. The touring National Compact Touring Series will make an appearance Downriver for a big feature! The DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks will also be a part of this huge night.

Saturday, July 26 : R&M Recycling Kids Night LMSP, SS, F8

R&M Recycling Kids Night takes place to close out July! The Salenbien Excavating Late Model Sportsman will run an event at Flat Rock alongside the DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stock division and the R&M Recycling Figure 8 division.

Saturday, August 2 : Throwback Night OSLM, VROA Vintage Mods, FS 500 Series

We’ll be throwing it back at Flat Rock on August 2nd! The Moran Chevrolet Outlaw Super Late Models will return to kick off the month of August. Alongside the late models, the VROA Vintage Modifieds will make a big return to Flat Rock with a huge night of racing, as well as another 100-lap leg of the Factory Stock 500 Series at Flat Rock.

Saturday, August 9 : Detroit 100 Street Stock, MCR Dwarf Cars, F8

Flat Rock Speedway will host the Detroit 100 Street Stock classic on Saturday, August 9. This will be one of the biggest DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks races of the season, where over 30 street stocks from the region will try to claim the feature win. The R&M Recycling Figure 8 division will be paired with the MCR Dwarf Cars and their second race of the season at Flat Rock.

Saturday, August 16 : OSLM, SS, F8

The pressure of winning a championship will be ever-present on this night of racing, as it is the driver’s last chance to better their season before championship night. Many championships have been won or lost on this night of racing. Three of our weekly divisions will be on the slate for this Saturday night of action: The Moran Chevrolet ARCA Outlaw Super Late Models, the DTS Drive Train Specialists ARCA Street Stocks, and the R&M Recycling ARCA Figure 8s.

Saturday, August 23 : Harris Mechanical Championship Night OSLM, SS, F8, FS 500 Series

Time to crown FOUR champions on Saturday August 24. Moran Chevrolet ARCA Outlaw Super Late Models, DTS Drive Train Specialists ARCA Street Stocks, R&M Recycling ARCA Figure 8s and the final Factory Stock 500 Series race will make for a high stakes night of racing.

Saturday, August 30 : CNV Enterprises School Bus F8, Boat F8, SS, F8

The wheels on the bus go round and round for the second time of the 2024 season. Our boat race captains will set sail for the final time of the year along with the famed Flat Rock Speedway School Buses. Also on deck for this night of family fun racing is the DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks and R&M Recycling Figure 8s,
