Rain Policy

WEATHER AND TICKETS

A dry racetrack is a must for safety purposes. Rain on race day can cause events to be delayed, postponed or cancelled. Always check with us the Flat Rock Speedway website or social media channels (Facebook, Instagram) before traveling if inclement weather is forecast for race day.

DELAY

Once the decision to attempt to run a race program has been made, track officials will make every effort to race. Should wet weather impact the track surface, an established track drying procedure will be implemented. Once dry enough to be safe for the racers, the racing program will resume.

POSTPONEMENT

For events with an established and advertised rain date, tickets will be good only for the make-up date and no refunds will be issued. Proof of purchase (rain check ticket stub, digital ticket) required for entry on make-up date, including reserved seat tickets.

CANCELLATION

Tickets purchased for an event which is cancelled carry a value of the original purchase price and can be credited to any alternative race in the current race season at the track in which the tickets were purchased. Rain check ticket stub or digital ticket should be presented at the ticket window on race day. No cash refunds will be issued, either for unused tickets or for difference in admission price.
