DANI’S TRANSPORT SCHOOL BUS RACE UP NEXT AT FLAT ROCK

Flat Rock, MI—August 31, 2016: After 3 weekends of weather cancellations, Mother Nature needs to cooperate! Plans are in the works for one of the biggest nights of the season Saturday, September 3 at Flat Rock Speedway! The Dani’s Transport School Bus Figure 8 races are ready to hit the track. The event has been a huge draw for fans of all ages for many years.
Saturday’s event includes action from the DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks and the Victory Lane Oil Change Figure 8’s. There will be no qualifying for the 2 classes, as the program will be set up by a random draw for heat race starting positions. The feature event lineup is determined by heat race finishes.
And also on the race card Saturday night is the Flag Pole Race and the Boat Figure 8 race! The Flag Pole race features a tire in the center of both the front and back straights. After completing a full lap on the oval, the cars must circle each tire to complete a lap!
The Boat Figure 8 race will feature 8 boats Saturday night! Anything can happen as race cars pull boats around the Figure 8 track. The object is to keep your boat on the trailer—while your fellow competitors try to dislodge the boats from the cars and trailers!
And, of course, the night concludes with the Dani’s Transport School Bus Figure 8 event. Collisions, near-misses and roll-overs are expected!
A pre-race ticket sale is now in progress for both reserved and general admission tickets. Phone orders are being taken by calling 734-782-2480 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday night.
