BEHIND THE SCENES: First Practice Day of 2023!
Sunday, April 23 -- 35 race teams came to Flat Rock on Saturday, April 22nd for the first session of the 2023 season at Flat Rock! An action-filled practice session saw teams work with cooler temperatures on a moisture-filled day. The session would eventually be cut short after just 70 minutes due to heavy rains.
All pit passes purchased on April 22 will be honored for the next and final practice, set for Saturday, April 29. The pit gate opens at 10 a.m. and practice will be extended an extra hour, running from Noon to 5 p.m.
The racing season begins on Saturday, May 6th with Opening Day at Flat Rock Speedway, so feel free to click the link here for more information on a big 2023 schedule of events in Metro Detroit's home track.
